OVERVIEW:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for various administrative and clerical tasks primarily in support of general office operations. This role will require strong time-management and attention to detail skills to ensure all responsibilities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Administrative Assistant spends most of their time in an office environment, but may occasionally spend time at the companys manufacturing plant. The office is an open and collaborative space where you will work both independently and with the team. When at the plant, you will be in a more traditional manufacturing environment, with higher noise levels and frequent movement of people and equipment.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform clerical tasks to support daily operations of the office (i.e., answering and transferring phone calls, sorting/delivering/processing incoming and outgoing mail, greeting visitors when they arrive for meetings, etc.)
- Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership
- Maintain common areas of the office for ease of use and cleanliness
- Coordinate and book travel for group events
- Maintain office equipment and supplies inventory/reorders
- Assist Marketing with branded merchandise count and distribution
- Provide company employee engagement event support
- Support the HR department with various administrative tasks
- Maintain standard office procedures and one-point lessons.
- QMS Document Control support including document updates and notifications
- Other duties as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Strong proficiency (2 years of experience) in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Ability to type at a speed of 45 WPM or greater
- Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Motivated to reach goals and complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks to ensure multiple deadlines are met
- Strong attention to detail
- Regularly required to sit for long and short periods of time at a desk.
- Regularly required to stand and walk for long and short distances.
- Required to hear with or without correction to be able to interpret and receive information and directions.
- Regularly required to communicate: verbal and written, in order to describe and explain detailed, important, and accurate instructions.
- Occasionally lift and/or move material up to 25lbs.
- Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
