We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Assembler to join our team in Ashtabula. You’ll work in our manufacturing facility assembling high-quality products, operating hand and power tools, and helping ensure everything we build meets the highest standards.

Essential Duties

• Prepare and organize parts and set up assembly processes in accordance with daily work orders.
• Assemble products using hand tools and various equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections on completed products in compliance with company standards and procedures.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of product mechanical components.
• Perform repair and rework on returned or defective products.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior or new employees to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve products through process and/or material modifications.
• Identify and report defective parts and products in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including equipment and work areas.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to perform job duties.
• Must possess the ability to see and inspect details at close range.
• Work is performed in a shop environment and requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education and Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a production or assembly environment within a plant or shop setting.
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

2. Skills and Attributes

• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
