About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to split time between two affiliated hospitals in New Hampshire, providing both outpatient and inpatient coverage. This role requires strong outpatient orthopedic skills along with comfort covering inpatient/critical access needs at a small hospital. A reliable personal vehicle is required, as the role involves travel between both facilities.
Schedule
- 40 hours/week total across two locations
- Facility A: 24 hrs/week (Mon, Wed, Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm) — Outpatient
- Facility B: 16 hrs/week (Tue, Thu, 8:00am–4:30pm) — Outpatient and Inpatient
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat outpatient orthopedic cases, including elbow, wrist, hand, and shoulder conditions (pain, rotator cuff injuries, post-surgical, etc.)
- Apply physical agent modalities as part of treatment plans
- Fabricate custom splints and fit patients with prefabricated splints, is a plus
- Manage an outpatient caseload independently
- Provide inpatient coverage, including critical access swing bed and Med/Surg support at a small hospital
Qualifications
- 2 years of current Occupational Therapy experience required
- Outpatient experience required
- Inpatient experience required
- Active New Hampshire OT license required (compact allowed)
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- Reliable personal transportation required
