About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to support a Critical Access Hospital in a rural New England setting, covering ICU, Labor & Delivery, Med/Surg, and the Emergency Department. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday schedule with a rotating weekend commitment, ideal for a pharmacist comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide pharmacist coverage across ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED
- Work independently, particularly during weekend coverage
- Support day-to-day hospital pharmacy operations in a Critical Access Hospital environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital pharmacy experience required
- Previous Critical Access Hospital experience highly preferred
- Meditech experience highly preferred; Omnicell experience a plus
- Active BLS (AHA) certification required
- Active or eligible state pharmacist license
- Travel candidates only (must reside 50 miles from the facility)
Pay & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour day shifts, plus rotating weekend coverage (every 3rd weekend)
