Sr. Power Platform Developer

Pay Rate: $50 – $70/hour

We are partnering with a federal client to bring on a Microsoft Power Platform Developer who can contribute to building and enhancing enterprise applications in a collaborative agile environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working across the full development lifecycle, and leveraging both traditional coding and low-code platforms to deliver scalable solutions.

• Work closely with product owners, architects, and QA teams to turn business needs into functional applications
• Design and develop solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
• Customize and extend platform capabilities through integrations, APIs, and supporting code where needed
• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery of features in an agile setting
• Validate application performance through testing, debugging, and continuous improvement efforts
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption and long-term stability
• Produce clear technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team
• Help maintain application security, data integrity, and alignment with compliance requirements

• Required Certification: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400 or higher)
• Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming (Java, C#, C ), with solid hands-on work in Java
• Background working with low-code platforms (such as Appian, Salesforce, or ServiceNow), with direct Microsoft Power Platform experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data structures
• Experience designing data models and working with both standard and custom entities
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience working with APIs and data exchange formats such as REST, JSON, XML, or SOAP
• Proven ability to operate effectively within agile teams and contribute across development, testing, and delivery
• Experience using Git or similar tools for version control and collaborative development
• Hands-on experience deploying or supporting Power Platform solutions in production environments
