Outside Sales Managers / Business Development Managers to build dealer networks and grow business in key regions.
Your Role
- As an Outside Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Building and expanding a dealer network for our client's premium heaters
- Developing new business opportunities and establishing our client's presence in the U.S. market
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships while actively acquiring new dealers
- Driving sales growth in line with set targets
- This role is primarily field-based. You are expected to spend around four days per week traveling within your region (using a company van) to meet new dealers and conduct product demonstrations.
(This role requires overnight travel within your territory, you can expect to be on the road 3 to 4 nights a week)
Purpose of the Role
The Outside Sales Manager / Business Development Manager is responsible for driving regional sales performance, developing and expanding the reseller network, supporting field operations, and maintaining strong and long-term relationships with resellers and key customers.
The role is primarily field-based and requires regular travel and physical presence with customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct physical customer and reseller visits primarily within the assigned district, and elsewhere in when needed
- Perform on-site product demonstration
- Support and train resellers in sales techniques and product knowledge
- Build and strengthen relationships through continuous and planned visits
- Identify, contact, and activate new resellers within the district and nationally
This role includes:
- Regular travel Monday–Friday
- Geographical responsibility for the assigned district
- High physical presence in the field
- Planning and Follow-up
- Plan weekly and monthly travel routes and customer visit schedules
- Work towards national sales targets as well as district-specific sales targets
- Follow up on reseller performance and activities
- Analyze market trends, opportunities, and developments
- Maintain active and ongoing communication with the reseller network
- Leadership and Coordination
- Collaborate with the company’s sales organisations in relevant countries
- Support and coordinate with other field sales representatives when required
- Cooperate with marketing, logistics and service departments to ensure operational sales readiness
- CRM and Administration
- Administrative duties support field sales and include:
- Daily updates in the CRM system (Odoo)
- Documentation of customer visits and follow-ups
- Reporting of activities, results, and market information
- Administrative tasks may be performed from a home office, but do not replace the required physical presence in the field.
- Travel and Overnight Stays
The position requires extensive travel within the specific country. Occasionally outside the country. Overnight stays are a natural part of the role and occur as needed based on district size, customer density, and workload. This typically includes up to 3–4 hotel nights per week when necessary to ensure proper coverage and field presence.
Trade fair work and weekend work may occur in connection with events, industry expos, sales activities, and customer engagements.
Competency Requirements

- Experience in B2B sales, preferably field-based
- High level of independence and responsibility
- Ability to manage travel-intensive workweeks
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s license
Summary
The role of Sales Manager is a field-oriented position where national travel, overnight stays, and personal presence with resellers are essential for success. Administrative work can be performed from home, but the position cannot be carried out primarily as a home-based role.
Trade fair work and occasional weekend work may occur depending on activities and sale initiatives.

What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation:
- Base salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually (depending on experience)
- $15,000 health benefit annually
- New dealer bonus: $1,000–$2,000 per month potential in first year
- 2nd year and beyond: 1% commission (in addition to new dealer bonus) when quarterly invoicing threshold of $500,000 is met (top performers earning an additional $14,000–$15,000 in Q4, the strongest quarter for heater business)
