Job Title: Network Design Engineering Support
Contract role: 24 months in duration

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Engineering or a related specialized area/field and 8 years of job-related experience.
OR
- Master’s Degree in Technology or Engineering or a related specialized area/field and 6 years of job-related experience.
OR
- 12 years of job related experience
Clearance Requirements
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Role and Position Objectives
As Network Engineering Support you’ll be a member of a cross functional team for Satellite Ground Systems.
Preferred skills or experiences:
- Enterprise Network Design & Topology
- High speed network design and implementation
- Maintenance of Network topology that utilize Linux IDM/Windows Servers for DNS and Account Management, Juniper Firewalls, Arista Switches and NAS/SAN storage
- Familiarity with Multicast, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning, hardening and resolution of findings
- Written skills to include development and maintenance of documentation for network, system, operations, etc.
- Familiarity with VMware vSphere and virtual machines
- Familiarity with Red Hat Linux operating system
