Description:
We are hiring a Supplier Program Manager II – Aerospace & Defense to manage supplier performance, material budgets, subcontracts, agreements, purchase orders, forecasts, and program execution.
Working onsite at a supplier’s facility, this individual will partner with Program Management, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management to ensure suppliers meet cost, schedule, technical, legal, and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop supplier-management strategies, material budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Manage supplier performance, subcontracts, agreements, and orders
- Identify and resolve supplier risks and performance issues
- Analyze proposals for cost, schedule, technical compliance, pricing, and contractual exceptions
- Review statements of work, technical specifications, and key requirements
- Establish negotiation targets for major subcontracts and procured materials
- Lead cross-functional teams supporting supplier execution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience
- Program and supplier-management experience
- Strong understanding of FAR requirements related to supplier management
- Ability to work autonomously and onsite at a supplier’s facility
- Technical or engineering degree preferred
- Aerospace, defense, or missile-program experience preferred
Pay: Up to $74.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
