Staff Accountant

Revolution is hiring a Staff Accountant to join its team. This role is based in Little Rock, AR, and has multi-site responsibility. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the business unit’s financial accounting and reporting activities and partners with operations leadership to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial results. You will need to have strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger activity and support core accounting functions.
• Prepare journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Assists with month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Prepare and file monthly and quarterly sales and use tax returns.
• Support inventory audits, physical inventories, and cycle counts, and related reconciliations.
• Partner with plant and business unit leadership to analyze results, investigate variances, and improve reporting accuracy.
• Help identify and implement process improvements that strengthen internal controls, improve reporting timeliness, and support cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, GAAP, and applicable local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
• Support ad hoc analysis, audit requests, and special projects as assigned.
• Travel occasionally to plants and other operating sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 2 years of accounting experience preferred; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting required.
• Experience preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close required.
• Experience with inventory accounting, physical inventory support, or plant accounting preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; broader Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems preferred; experience with Infor CloudSuite Industrial and/or Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
