Job Title: IT Service Technician (MSP)

Type: Full-time Reports to: Service Desk Manager / Technical Services Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Service Technician to join our Managed Service Provider (MSP) team. In this role, you will handle escalated support issues, provide advanced troubleshooting, and help maintain stable, secure IT environments for a diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and cloud services
Troubleshoot and support Windows and macOS environments
Manage and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure AD)
Assist with basic server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, file servers)
Support networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
Perform remote and on-site support as required
Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system configurations clearly
Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions or improvements
Assist with on-boarding/off-boarding users and device deployments
Maintain a strong focus on security, best practices and client data protection
Preferred Skills & Experience
2–4 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably within an MSP
Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Windows Server environments
Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing
Experience with RMM and ticketing systems
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize effectively
Customer-service mindset with a professional, friendly approach
Preferred Qualifications
MSP experience strongly preferred
Certifications (Network , Security , Microsoft)
Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V)
Familiarity with backup solutions, endpoint security, and MFA
Basic scripting or automation experience (Power Shell a plus)
