Print Production Specialist

Revolution Events is looking for a Print Production Specialist with experience in print production and event graphics. We are looking for someone who has a fun and outgoing demeanor and is excited about learning and adding value to the Revolution team. You must be creative, open-minded and willing to think outside the box. This position will work directly with the graphics and fabrication team and will be based in the print shop working on large format prints, CNC cut files, and vinyl files. You will work as part of a team to ensure creation and project completion. This role is for print production and application, not graphic design.

This position will be a full-time position Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., nights and weekends as needed.

GRAPHIC PRODUCTION SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a variety of high-speed digital B&W and Color multifunction equipment (Scan/Email/Print/Copying/Plotting).
• Manipulate a variety of software, digital format files, and documents to prepare them for production; determine paper types, weights, finishes and sizes.
• Provide quality reproduction of all materials submitted by customer via electronic requests, including binding, mounting and trimming, vinyl and graphics application.
• Provide technical direction and support to clients; lift and carry supplies, printed materials, and bulk paper. (Ability to lift up to 30 pounds)
• Availability to work after hours or weekend if required by specific projects.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance when needed.
• Notifies proper service company to fix/resolve issues with equipment when needed in a timely manner.
• Effectively coordinate priorities of various production functions simultaneously; follow strict production timelines.
• Exercise a high degree of judgment and utilize various strategies regarding project development and the production process.
• Must be enthusiastic, motivated, reliable, have positive attitude, strong work-ethic and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Notifies management of product discrepancies, equipment malfunctions, inventory levels, etc.
• Operate up to 4 pieces of different equipment simultaneously for maximum efficiency.
• Maintains equipment and work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Perform other tasks that contribute to the benefit of the company, customers and co-workers.

GRAPHIC PRODUCTION SPECIALIST MUST HAVE:.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and submit deliverables within tight/short deadlines.
• Proficiency in the following softwares: Illustrator, Photoshop, Onyx Thrive and VersaWorks.
• Knowledge of substrates, print materials and printable vinyls.
