We are seeking Assistant Technical Designer, the candidate/s will provide overall support to the Technical Design team by performing various tasks including preparing garment samples, fit session administrative support and data entry. This position will work cross-functionally with design and pattern teams.
- Accurately measure garments to ensure they meet size standards.
- Prepare samples for fit sessions, including evaluating garment construction.
- Support fittings by documenting notes, taking photos, and helping with garment preparation.
- Assist in entering fit notes, photos, and comments into Centric.
- Maintain sample organization for the Technical Design team.
Ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of garment construction and fit; understanding of manufacturing processes is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Experience in some/all of these programs a plus: Adobe Illustrator, MS Office Suite, Centric/PLM, Optitex.
