About the Role
We're looking for a Kitchen Manager (Line/Prep Cook) to take ownership of the back-of-house at our Olmos Park location. This is a hands-on position — you'll be on the line, prepping, cooking, cleaning, and keeping everything running smoothly day-to-day.
You'll also be responsible for maintaining prep standards, light inventory and ordering, and ensuring the kitchen stays organized, clean, and efficient. The ideal person is dependable, proactive, and thrives in a small-team environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily BOH operations — prep, line, and service for a 7AM–2PM café
- Maintain Revolución's quality, consistency, and presentation standards
- Manage food prep lists, portioning, labeling, and cleanliness
- Handle light ordering, inventory checks, and vendor communication
- Support daily open/close procedures and kitchen organization
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Communicate clearly with the FOH team to keep service flowing
- Be a positive leader and example in the kitchen every day
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen lead
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining standards
- Organized and dependable — you enjoy running a clean, efficient kitchen
- Great communication and teamwork skills
- Food Handler's Certification (or willing to obtain)
- Positive, professional attitude — low-ego, high-ownership mindset
