ReviveZone Ithaca is an immersive gaming and entertainment destination in Ithaca, NY, built around bringing people together through gaming, competition, and shared experiences. ReviveZone offers multiplayer VR, indoor golf simulators, a game lounge, private events, tournaments, and community competitions for casual players, competitive gamers, students, families, and groups.
Our goal is to create a space where people can play, compete, connect, and leave feeling revived. As ReviveZone grows its tournament and event programming, we are looking to build consistent gaming experiences that give players a reason to return, compete again, and become part of the ReviveZone community.
The Gaming & Tournament Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing ReviveZone's gaming tournaments, competitions, and special events from concept through completion.
This person will take an event idea and work through all of the details needed to make it successful. Responsibilities include determining the game or competition, tournament format, rules, player capacity, registration process, entry fees, prizes, brackets, scoring, scheduling, equipment needs, and overall event flow.
The Coordinator will also oversee the operational side of each event, including:
- Planning tournament formats, brackets, scoring systems, and rules
- Managing registrations and participant information
- Creating event schedules and match times
- Coordinating prizes and competition incentives
- Preparing gaming stations, equipment, and event spaces
- Managing player check-in and communicating rules
- Tracking scores, brackets, leaderboards, and winners
- Keeping tournaments organized and running on schedule
- Handling player questions and basic competition disputes
- Reviewing attendance, feedback, and event performance afterward
- Developing recurring tournaments and competitions that encourage players to return
The Coordinator will work closely with ReviveZone's Gaming Influencer and marketing team by providing finalized event details so they can effectively promote each tournament. While the Influencer focuses on building excitement and attracting participants, the Coordinator ensures that the event itself is organized, competitive, professional, and enjoyable from start to finish.
