POSITION: Medical Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Back Office
REPORTS TO: Administrator

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant supports providers by preparing patients for non-surgical cosmetic procedures and assisting during treatments. Responsibilities include room setup, patient education, documentation, and assisting with minor aesthetic procedures such as injectables, laser treatments, and other minimally invasive cosmetic services. This position requires a professional, friendly demeanor and a commitment to exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, high-touch environment.

Primary Responsibilities1. Clinical Support

• Prepare treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Escort patients to treatment rooms and prepare them for procedures
• Assist providers with non-surgical cosmetic procedures, including injectables, laser treatments, and other aesthetic services
• Ensure accurate and timely charting/documentation in the EMR
• Obtain and verify informed consents
• Maintain proper patient flow and ensure a smooth, on-time schedule

2. Patient Education & Care

• Educate patients on pre- and post-treatment instructions, skincare products, and what to expect following procedures
• Answer patient questions and reinforce provider guidance regarding treatment plans
• Ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their visit

3. Administrative & Facility Duties

• Clean and restock rooms between patients, including disinfecting equipment and surfaces
• Monitor inventory of supplies and report low stock
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, stored, and powered off appropriately at the end of the day
• Assist with check-out processes as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
