Essential Functions
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical wiring systems in residential homes
- Working from building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings and maintenance and repair manuals, determine the routing of wiring and execute plan
- Determine size, type and gauge of wiring, coupling, straps, conduits, etc. to install electrical circuits, equipment, and components
- Utilize various conduit systems to include PVC, flexible, rigid and electrical metallic tubing
- Inspect I.C. recessed lighting in accordance with Mass Save requirements for insulation
- Review and assess knob and tub wiring for insulation installation in accordance with electrical codes and Mass Save program requirements
- Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor
Job Requirements
- 2 years’ experience working as an electrician in residential homes.
- Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver's License.
- Ability to work a non-traditional workweek and perform overtime duties as required
- Outstanding technical knowledge, excellent people skills and focus on superior customer service.
- Team player; ability to communicate effectively and work harmoniously with others.
