Job Summary
Reverie Coffee Roasters is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Shop Team Member to support daily café operations and create a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves taking orders, preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, assisting with food service, maintaining clean work areas, and restocking supplies. Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, tea, and specialty beverages according to established procedures.
- Assist with serving pastries, snacks, and other café menu items.
- Answer customer questions about coffee selections, beverages, and menu offerings.
- Help customers choose suitable beverages and communicate special requests to coworkers.
- Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and served promptly.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized counters, tables, service stations, and work areas.
- Restock coffee beans, milk, ingredients, cups, lids, napkins, utensils, and other supplies.
- Clean coffee machines, grinders, utensils, and service equipment according to established procedures.
- Assist with preparing workstations and setting up the café for daily operations.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety guidelines.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate inventory needs to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient service during busy periods.
- Respond to customer questions and concerns courteously and professionally.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general café duties.
- Help maintain consistent beverage quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
- Handle food, beverages, equipment, and café supplies carefully and responsibly.
- Perform other coffee shop service and support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous coffee shop, café, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
