Revere Staffing Partners is hiring a Buyer for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading manufacturer in Holyoke, MA.

Salary: $80,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience

Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced purchasing and supply chain professional to join an established manufacturing organization. The Buyer will be responsible for procurement, material planning, supplier management, cost reduction, and ensuring materials are available to support production and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Manage purchasing and material planning activities to support production requirements
• Procure raw materials and sourced components at competitive pricing while ensuring on-time delivery
• Work closely with production planning, operations, engineering, logistics, and finance
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
• Lead RFQs, supplier selection, pricing negotiations, and contract negotiations
• Negotiate pricing, volume discounts, rebates, lead times, and other favorable purchasing terms
• Monitor supplier performance across quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness
• Develop secondary sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk
• Identify and implement cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities
• Resolve supplier issues involving pricing, availability, lead times, and quality
• Review supplier contracts and compliance documentation
• Understand material specifications and quality requirements in partnership with Engineering and R&D
• Support inventory optimization, material flow, and improved inventory turns
• Conduct supplier visits to review performance and identify opportunities
• Maintain purchasing and supplier information within ERP/MRP systems

Qualifications:

• 3 years of materials, purchasing, planning, or inventory experience
• Manufacturing purchasing experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP principles and supply chain planning
• Proven negotiation and supplier-management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and project planning
• Knowledge of import/export regulations and tariffs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• APICS or ISM certification is a plus
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future sponsorship
