We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Previous experience as a driver or in a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
As a White Glove Driver/Laborer, you will be responsible for the careful handling, delivery, installation, and setup of high-value items such as fine furniture, electronics, and other premium goods for residential or commercial clients. You’ll represent the highest standard of customer service, attention to detail, and professionalism in all aspects of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load, unload, and transport high-end items using proper techniques and equipment
Unpack, inspect, and assemble furniture, appliances, and electronics according to client instructions
Ensure all deliveries are damage-free and meet quality standards before, during, and after transport
Communicate clearly and courteously with clients on-site
Maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles
Follow all safety and handling procedures, including the use of protective padding and wraps
Document deliveries, damages, and customer feedback using digital or paper logs
Collaborate closely with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure timely and accurate service
Qualifications:
Previous experience in moving, delivery, logistics, or a similar hands-on role preferred
Knowledge of basic furniture assembly and tools
Physically fit and capable of lifting 50–100 lbs repeatedly
Strong customer service and communication skills
Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if driving is required)
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Attributes:
Experience handling antiques, fragile goods, or artwork
OSHA or DOT certifications
Familiarity with route logistics and mobile inventory systems
White glove industry experience strongly preferred
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment with frequent lifting, climbing stairs, and operating dollies/lifts
Work in client homes, offices, and upscale commercial properties
Some weekend and evening work may be required based on client needs
Uniform and professional appearance required at all times
