What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate position at REVELATION STEEL LLC?
Revelation Steel is now hiring for an Inside Sales / Customer Service Associate. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing local company where excellent customer service is the highest priority. Our friendly office sales team works directly with our customers, both over the counter and on the phone, to assist them with their needs and build lasting customer relationships. Responsibilities of this position includes answering frequent calls, assisting customers at the counter, researching and locating products for customers from various vendors, preparing quotes and invoices, order entry and tracking, as well as, performing other various office duties.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience and abilities:
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Proficient with various Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge of steel products and related construction knowledge a plus
- Previous customer database experience a plus
- Detail-oriented and organized to ensure accurate order placement
- Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to balance changing priorities and multitask to complete work, including the ability to transition between phone and counter customers with ease and a welcoming attitude
- Ability to coordinate with other sales, warehouse, and delivery team members to ensure customer needs are accurately met in a timely manner
- Ability to arrive and be ready to serve customers at the start of business hours
- Attend team meetings from time to time after or before business hours
- Participate in periodic company inventory checks, typically held one weekend per year
Business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
