REVEL is a nonprofit organization where teens and young adults on the autism spectrum and their peers come to connect, socialize, expand interests, hobbies and friendships while encouraging each other to become meaningful and active members in their community. REVEL pairs teens and young adults on the autism spectrum with their typical peers to build friendships and support and encourage each other through a positive mentor relationship.
Our purpose is to fight potential isolation, depression, unemployment and risk factors related to quality of life. We do this through developing meaningful relationships, independent living skills, employment, exploration and engagement in a range of leisure activities, recreational outings and exposure to various hobbies. Social and communication skills are fostered and facilitated throughout all activities and interactions. Members’ interests, strengths, and abilities drive choice of activities, friendships, work skills and classes. We train peers and mentors to guide and welcome members into a place they can call their own.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detailed research, has strong analytical skills, and is passionate about connecting nonprofits with the resources they need to advance their mission.

Responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with the organization's programs and strategic priorities
- Compile and maintain a database of prospective funders, including eligibility requirements, funding amounts, deadlines, and application guidelines
- Review funder websites, databases (such as Candid/Foundation Directory, Grants.gov, or state portals), and newsletters to stay current on new opportunities
- Summarize findings in clear, concise reports for staff review
- Assist with tracking grant cycles and renewal opportunities
- Support the development team with background research on funders prior to outreach or proposal writing
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amounts of information
- Familiarity with grant databases (e.g., Candid, Foundation Directory Online) is a plus, but not required — training available
- Comfort working independently and meeting deadlines
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising, philanthropy, or the organization's mission area
