Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Rehab
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist with the implementation of individualized treatment plans
Monitor and document patient progress, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Maintain open communication with the care team, patients, and families
Prepare and maintain treatment areas, following all safety and cleanliness standards
Support with patient scheduling, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed
Follow all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA standards
Participate in continuing education and team in-services to stay current with clinical best practices
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (CAPTE)
Current and valid state license/certification to practice as a PTA
CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Comfortable lifting and supporting patients and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in outpatient rehab or orthopedics
Knowledge of EMR systems and standard therapy equipment
Familiarity with productivity tracking and insurance documentation
Salary : $30 - $38
