Key Responsibilities
Work aged accounts, verify insurance benefits, and resolve outstanding claims
Review, correct, and resubmit denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement
Manage unpaid patient balances and follow medical collection best practices
Apply accurate ICD-10 coding for diagnoses and procedures
Process daily medical billing for services rendered by providers
Handle refund requests and maintain compliance with billing and coding regulations
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure complete and accurate billing data
Confirm insurance coverage and obtain authorizations when needed
Required Qualifications
Proven success in claim resolution and follow-up
MediClear Certification or equivalent HIPAA/privacy certification
Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and medical billing procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology, coding guidelines, and collection processes
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment and meet quotas
EPIC experience preferred but not required
