Forklift Operators

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move palletized and non-palletized freight.
  

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  

• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools, straps, and supplies.
  

• Use handheld scanning devices to track, identify, and record shipments.
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe dock area in all weather conditions.
  

• Follow company safety policies and OSHA standards at all times.
  

• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate freight movement.
  

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally.
  

• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  

• Basic math skills (with or without a calculator).
  

• Prior forklift or dock experience in transportation, logistics, or LTL environments preferred.
  

• VantageClear Certification (or equivalent security clearance) required.
