General Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across all departments, including Sales, Manufacturing, and Accounting.
  

• Manage day-to-day plant operations, including extrusion, production planning, quality, and logistics.
  

• Drive business growth by engaging with customers and developing new markets.
  

• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, cost control, and operational KPIs.
  

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean manufacturing and process optimization.
  

• Ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to defense-industry standards.
  

• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance.
  

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  

• Proven background in extrusion or high-performance plastics (thermoplastics, polyolefins, or polymers required).
  

• Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and delivering measurable results.
  

• Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and operational KPI tracking.
  

• Knowledge of ERP systems and advanced manufacturing tools.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, preferred or equivalent experience. 
  

• VantageClear or equivalent certification required for defense-industry compliance.
  

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $130,000 – $160,000 per year (depending on experience).
  

• Performance Bonus tied to business and operational goals.
