Our client, a growing design and engineering firm delivering large-scale commercial projects and renovations across multiple sectors, is looking for a BIM Technician who is ready to bring expertise, creativity, and precision to every model and drawing.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain accurate BIM models and contract drawings for a variety of projects.
- Ensure quality control by reviewing your work and collaborating with engineers and project managers.
- Update and refine company templates, detail libraries, and modeling standards.
- Work independently or as part of a team to tackle modeling and detailing challenges.
- Support cross-office projects or specialties as needed, providing flexibility and expertise where it counts.
What You Bring:
- Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field.
- 3 years in construction, architecture, or structural engineering.
- Solid experience with Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, and Navisworks.
- Understanding of commercial building codes and structural design principles.
- Familiarity with building systems and construction processes.
Extra Skills We Love:
- Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, Rhino, Civil3D, or Tekla.
- Ability to create and customize Revit families for project-specific needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication skills — you can explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing focus on quality.
