Low Voltage Superintendent

About The Role

Lead low-voltage and structured cabling teams on hyperscale data center projects in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Candidates may live anywhere in the United States and must be available for 100% travel. Travel expenses and per diem are provided.

Compensation and employment terms

$40-$46/hour W2 plus overtime, car allowance, phone allowance, and bonus pooling, or $92,000 annual salary. Candidates must be open to both contract and full-time employment; contract-only applicants will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead low-voltage project delivery, safety, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Manage at least 20 structured cabling technicians, including hiring and performance management of contract workers. Coordinate staffing, schedules, timesheets, change orders, materials, project tracking, meetings, technical training, and closeout documentation. Maintain customer relationships and resolve escalated field issues.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• at least 5 years managing low-voltage/structured cabling technicians
• strong fiber/copper installation and troubleshooting knowledge
• ability to train crews and interpret scopes of work, bills of materials, blueprints, and schedules
• strong written and verbal communication
• valid driver's license and applicable equipment certifications. Hyperscale data center experience is strongly preferred, especially Meta/Microsoft projects and both construction and post-construction work. RCDD or DCDC BICSI certification is a plus. No bachelor's degree is required.
