About the role
Support estate and trust administration in this onsite, contract-to-hire role in Uptown Charlotte, North Carolina. Two positions are available.
Compensation and employment terms
$40/hour W2 during the contract period; $90,000 annual salary upon full-time conversion after six months. Excellent benefits and 401(k) are offered. Candidates must be open to both contract and full-time employment; contract-only applicants will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Support estate and trust administration, including drafting and preparing probate documents, estate accountings, estate planning documents, and federal estate and gift tax returns. Review, proofread, revise, and organize documents
- prepare court filings
- schedule and participate in client meetings
- contribute analysis to matter strategy
- and follow applicable professional ethical standards.
Required qualifications
- estate administration experience, including preparation of complex federal estate and gift tax returns for high-net-worth individuals
- bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- strong written and verbal communication
- ability to manage multiple matters independently and maintain a substantive understanding of relevant legal processes and documentation. Regular in-person attendance is required.
