This role is posted on behalf of the following client: A rapidly growing AI-era fraud prevention startup helping high-growth companies distinguish real users from bots, fake accounts, and bad actors. The company has scaled to 100 customers, achieved 6x year-over-year ARR growth to approximately $2M, and raised $12M in total funding, including an $8.8M Series A.
Role Overview
The GTM Director will own revenue and go-to-market strategy for a specific vertical, defining the target audience, generating pipeline, and closing deals. This is a hands-on leadership role for a high-performing operator who can combine market strategy, pipeline generation, sales execution, and customer insight to help accelerate growth.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a comprehensive vertical strategy, including market mapping, target audience definition, competitive analysis, and revenue planning.
- Generate pipeline through creative campaigns, events, content, direct outreach, and close collaboration with marketing resources.
- Own the full deal process from initial meeting through signed contract, including discovery, stakeholder management, negotiation, and closing.
- Represent the company at industry events and develop relationships across the target market.
- Translate customer feedback and market learnings into actionable product insights for the broader team.
Who You Are
- 5–10 years of experience in go-to-market, operations, strategy, or top-tier management consulting at high-performing companies.
- Strong strategic thinker with the ability to build a market map, identify priority accounts, and create a repeatable plan to win a vertical.
- Commercially sharp and comfortable owning revenue outcomes, generating pipeline, managing sales cycles, and closing deals.
- Highly creative and resourceful, with the ability to design campaigns, leverage events, create compelling content ideas, and drive direct outreach.
- Excited to work on-site 5 days per week in Austin, TX with a lean, high-performance team.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Compensation
- Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 per year
- Equity: 0.25% - 0.5%
