What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Safety Lead position at Reva?
When Reva says stop and see someone, that judgement has to come from somewhere. You own where.
This is a licensed clinician's role with a product output. You define the red-flag list, the caution rules, and the exact language Reva uses when it defers to a professional, and you keep those current as guidance moves.
What you would own
A thirty-minute call with a founder, then a paid work session on a real problem from our backlog, two to three hours, then conversations with two people you would work directly with. Four steps, usually inside two weeks. We tell you where you stand after every one.

What you would own
- Own the red-flag and caution rules across the recoveries people bring to Reva.
- Write the language Reva uses to defer to a clinician, in plain, calm words.
- Review generated sessions weekly against the safety rules and file what is wrong, specifically.
- Set the boundary the whole company holds: general movement guidance, never physical therapy or treatment.
- Licensed physical therapist or equivalent clinician, with five or more years in orthopedic or post-surgical care.
- You have sent enough people home to know where home guidance helps and where it is dangerous.
- You can write for a reader who is not a clinician and is having a hard week.
- You are comfortable being the person who says the product is wrong about this.
