Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and compassionate Special Needs Fitness Instructor to lead adaptive fitness sessions for children, teens, and adults. This role is perfect for someone who loves helping others grow, thrives in a positive environment, and is committed to making a real impact through movement and fitness.
What You’ll Do
- Lead fun, engaging, and adaptive fitness classes for individuals with special needs
- Modify exercises to meet a wide range of abilities and skill levels
- Create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Motivate and inspire students to build confidence, strength, and independence
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and team members
- Assist with both group classes and one-on-one training sessions
What We’re Looking For
- Passion for working with the special needs / adaptive community
- Experience in fitness, coaching, personal training, physical education, or related fields preferred
- Background in adaptive fitness, ABA, special education, or therapy is a strong plus
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Availability on weekdays and/or weekends
