Position Overview:
The Avoya Mastermind Sales Development Coach will work with a specific set of Independent Agency owners participating in the Avoya Mastermind Early Success Program to foster relationships and increase active engagement in the Avoya Travel Network. The position is designed to assist in increasing Agency Early Success Rates, Retention, Close Rate Percentages (CRP), and Repeat Client Percentages (RCP). As a result, assisting Avoya Travel in reaching annual targets, and increasing overall sales.
Sounds Like A Good Fit? What It Takes To Be Successful…
- Bi-weekly Network Engagement staff meetings
- Weekly 1:1 with Senior Manager of Avoya Mastermind
- Monthly 1:1 with Vice President of Network Engagement
- Create and present group session PPTs for Mastermind Program, as assigned.
- Optimize on coaching opportunities via ZOOM, Teams, phone or email, as needed or requested, between optional individual and group sessions.
- Works and communicates as a liaison between Avoya Mastermind Management and Independent Agency owners
- Assist Network Engagement management with promoting Avoya and Network Engagement events
- When selected to attend, assist during Avoya and Network Engagement events
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or as may be necessary.
Sales Development Coach assigned to Mastermind Program:
- Weekly Team meeting with Senior Manager of Avoya Mastermind
- Coaching Independent Agencies participating in Mastermind Program
- Responsible for interacting with IA owners and sharing Suggested Best Practices to enhance success
- Consistent communication with IA/ILAs to “fill their bucket”.
- Create / send invites for Optional Individual Sessions.
- Documentation of individual session notes to be included on individual session report and TeamAVC/ completed at the end of each call.
Sales Development Coach assigned to Mastermind Early Success Program:
- Weekly Team meeting with Senior Manager of Avoya Mastermind
- Coaching Independent Agencies participating in Early Success Program
- Actively Host | Mentor | Engage participants in optional individual sessions
- Create / send invites for sessions
- Document optional individual session notes in TeamAVC
- Record touch points (email or phone call) within Early Success report and TeamAVC
- Host Early Success group sessions / 4 X per month as outlined by the Manager | Program
What it takes to be Successful…
- Must be an active/former Independent Agency owner within the Avoya Travel Network, and preferably have participated in the Avoya Mastermind Program.
- Must be able to work independently, be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a fast-paced changing environment
- Ability to handle situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with team members and Independent Agency owners using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong computer systems skills including; Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Agent Power (AP), reservations and reporting systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to collaborate effectively with other employees and managers to ensure teamwork
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to self-direct daily / weekly / monthly schedule.
- Ability to develop creative ideas and execute strategies that foster Agency Sales Development.
- Requires a combination of creative and analytic skill sets with exceptional level of detail-orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The ability to embrace change is a must.
