Position Summary
The Independent Agency Relation Coordinator will work with both prospective travel agencies and current agencies in our network to ensure their setup and continued affiliation. Position is home based.

- Assist agencies with completion of documents as it pertains to their affiliation or future affiliation
- Handle secure information in a professional manner
- Setup and create new agent accounts in our system
- Effectively communicate and problem solve, if necessary, with agencies when they have questions, concerns, or issues about their affiliation
- Skillfully track, organize, and process data on agencies using our system and excel and be able to understand and share this information with other departments and management
- Ability to assist in changes or updates to agencies structure, additions, modifications, etc.
- Maintain business relationships with outside companies
- Works with internal departments (join avoya, accounting, sales support, customer service, independent agency liaison) as well as other industry contacts (Aon)
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or as may be necessary

- Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well in a fast-paced changing environment
- Ability to handle situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgment
- Must have the ability to communicate clearly and directly with agents using a positive, clear speaking voice
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong computer systems skills including excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to collaborate effectively with other employees and managers to ensure teamwork
