Located in Danville in the scenic East Bay Area, The Reutlinger Community provides comfortable accommodations and personalized care for up to 180 seniors. Newly renovated to better serve residents, The Reutlinger Community currently offers room and board in specialized Assisted Living, Enhanced Care, Memory Care and Rehabilitation.

Position Overview
The purpose of the Janitor position is to ensure that the cleaning needs of the community and residents are met.
Essential Job Duties
- Must commit to the Mission and Core Values of the organization and promote community in a positive manner.
- Checks cart for all cleaning materials required, and lists additional supplies needed.
- Commercial laundry knowledge
- Commercial janitorial duties (carpet cleaning, use of floor machine, knowledge with bonnet and extraction)
- Sanitizes bathroom facilities, and supplies with soap, tissue and paper towels.
- Leaves cart neat and clean and empties all pails of cleaning solution at end of shift.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous institutional cleaning experience preferred.
The final candidate must successfully pass The Reutlinger Community's post offer, pre-employment testing which includes a criminal background check, drug test, TB screen test, COVID-19 test and health screen with or without back evaluation depending on position.
