Position: Cost Accountant

Position Summary:

ReturnPro seeks a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong analytical skills to drive financial accuracy and operational efficiency across our internal reporting infrastructure. Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Manage and provide vendor and service reconciliations and perform client invoicing monthly
• Perform monthly client accruals to hit month-end deadlines
• Maintain sales and service reporting to support accurate customer billing and proper revenue recognition
• Execute day-to-day revenue and accounts receivable management activities
• Provide support and documentation for customer audit requests
• Produce financial analysis reports to support the department and FP&A decision-making.
• Perform cost allocation and conduct cost-reduction analyses to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Support preparation of strategic plans, annual budgets, and financial forecasts
• Develop and maintain process documentation for compliance, balance sheet tracking, training, and operational continuity
• Utilize accounting software tools to automate reporting, improve efficiency, and ensure consistency across functions
• Complete additional requests from Accounting Management and the Chief Financial Officer as directed
• Perform other related duties as needed to support the growing needs of the business

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
• 5 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or revenue accounting position
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related enterprise software
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage competing priorities while maintaining quality output
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self-motivated approach to achieving goals and completing both routine and complex analytical assignments
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
