Job Description
The Maintenance Technician II will take ownership, monitor, escalate, and maintain stagnant LOTs for multiple production tools from a remote location within the Remote Operations Center (ROC). This role reports to a Program Manager and is responsible for ensuring tools meet expected run times and shift output goals.
Job Duties
- Monitor and escalate stagnant lots while maintaining expected tool run time and meeting shift output targets.
- Utilize T3S software for scheduling and workflow management.
- Role model injury-free behavior and adhere to safety protocols.
- Multi-task effectively, resolve problems, understand area and factory WIP management goals, and deliver clear, concise passdowns to peers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, execute procedures, and resolve sustaining issues.
- Maintain high attention to safety and quality standards while running operations remotely.
- Monitor real-time activity of each tool and document any unscheduled activity or downtime as it occurs.
- Track actual output per toolset continuously to ensure shift Drumbeat targets are met.
- Respond immediately to issues and request FAB intervention or investigation into any suspected anomalies in standard operation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent; associate’s degree in STEM, trade school, or minimum two (2) years experience in a similar position.
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask efficiently.
- Comfortable working in a technical, office-based environment.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Work Environment
Job duties are performed in an office environment on-site with low noise and artificial lighting. Ergonomic safety procedures must be followed when working.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged sitting for six to eight (6-8) hours per day.
- Fine motor skills required for keyboard and mouse use.
- Substantial wrist, hand, and finger movements.
