Kanto Corporation is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician II for our high purity chemical manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Technician II works with other maintenance technicians and the engineering team to maintain, repair, and upgrade all plant equipment and facilities – machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe systems. Ensures that the equipment and systems are working properly, reliably, and efficiently while adhering to Kanto’s Operating Priorities of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.

- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- AA (or in progress) as Maintenance Technician or certification training from a college or technical school preferred.
- 4 years of experience working as a facilities technician (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Must have experience using basic hand and power tools and working with limited supervision.
- Must acquire or be certified as a Hazardous Materials Technician as per 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(6)(iii), and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirator, as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and read and interpret various documents.
- Strong mathematical skills, problem-solving skills, and reasoning ability.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk for long periods and work in industrial environments.
