Kanto Corporation is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician III for our high purity chemical manufacturing facility. The Facilities Maintenance Technician III works with other maintenance technicians and the engineering team to maintain, repair, and upgrade all plant equipment and facilities – machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems. Ensures that the equipment and systems are working properly, reliably, and efficiently while adhering to Kanto’s Operating Priorities of Safety, Quality, and Productivity.
What You’ll Do
- Performs all routine preventive maintenance (PM) orders as assigned and health checks on facility equipment.
- Works with controls systems, troubleshooting, and correcting the issue.
- Uses the plants CMMS system to track and complete work assignments. Makes recommendations on ways to improve preventative maintenance tasks.
- Works with internal teams and outside contractors to coordinate work activities and minimize impacts to production.
- Follows all applicable company and customer safety requirements, participates in the company safety committee and supports emergency responses.
- Participates in annual maintenance assignments.
- Requires work in a clean room environment and around chemicals for semiconductor etching and cleaning.
