Front Desk Receptionist

Retro Mutt Grooming is looking for a warm, friendly, and dependable team member to help create an exceptional experience for every client who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

• Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, positive attitude
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Assist customers with retail purchases and product recommendations
• Process payments and check clients in and out
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front lobby
• Restock retail shelves and merchandise displays
• Help keep the retail space running smoothly through cleaning and daily organization

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

• Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate
• Comfortable around dogs of all breeds and personalities
• Professional with excellent customer service skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable learning a user-friendly booking software
• Comfortable using a computer/iPad and answering phones
• Willing to learn wherever needed

Bonus Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience
• Experience in a veterinary clinic, grooming salon, daycare, or pet retail environment
• Experience using scheduling software or point-of-sale systems

Position Details

• Part-time
• Approximately 20–25 hours per week
• Thursday-Saturday
