Retirement Income Planning LLC is a financial planning and investment management firm with offices in Madison and Brookfield, Wisconsin. We provide our clients with a retirement plan that is customized to their specific needs and desires, as well as investment management services.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our team and ensure the efficient operation of our office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, service-driven environment with growth potential.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain expenses and revenue records for the firm
- Maintain financial files and records in accordance with compliance requirements
- Produce annual and monthly budget variations, and profit and loss reports
- Prepare and process bi-weekly employee payroll, ensuring accuracy of hours, deductions, and tax withholdings
- Record all financial transactions in accounting software and reconcile accounts regularly
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting by tracking expenses and providing management with financial insights
- All other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 4 years’ bookkeeping experience (Required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and QuickBooks (Required)
- Associates degree in accounting or higher (Required)
- Prior Experience Working in Financial Advisory Industry (Preferred)
- Proficiency with CRM (Preferred)
- Knowledge of basic math, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Ability to type both efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication (verbal and written)
- Able to learn and adapt to changes
