RCH
builds and renovates custom homes across the Florence/Muscle Shoals area. Our team shows up with clear communication, integrity, and craftsmanship every day, on every site. We believe in being organized, methodical, and attentive to detail, staying honest with our clients and partners, and viewing each project through the homeowner's eyes, clean sites, professional presentation, and going the extra mile.
The
Project Managerowns the schedule, budget, quality, safety, and client communication from pre-construction through closeout. You'll coordinate vendors and subs, manage JobTread (or similar) for scheduling/budgets, keep clients informed, and drive the plan, so our owner can focus on sales/estimating while you run the work.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and implement project schedules; identify risks and drive on-time delivery.
Create and manage budgets, POs, change orders, and cost tracking; keep stakeholders updated.
Lead weekly cadence: jobsite walks, progress updates in JobTread, and client check-ins.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, inspections, and closeout documentation.
Maintain tidy, safe, and professional jobsites; enforce safety practices and quality standards.
Document everything: daily logs, photos, RFIs, COs, and decisions for a clean project record.
Champion continuous improvement, tighten systems that increase production efficiency.
Qualifications
3 to 5 or more years in residential construction project management (custom homes/major remodels preferred).
Construction scheduling experience (building and implementing schedules end-to-end).
Construction management software experience; JobTread preferred (Buildertrend, etc., also welcome).
Familiarity with QuickBooks for budget/cost tracking (preferred).
Proven communication with clients and trades; organized, methodical, and calm under pressure.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to visit jobs across the Shoals area.
Working knowledge of building methods, materials, local codes, safety practices, and inspections.
Experience rolling out new field/office systems that improve production efficiency.
Contract administration and vendor negotiation skills.

Work Location & Schedule
Primarily Florence, AL, and surrounding communities; a mix of office and field.
Full-time (W-2), salaried, exempt role with typical Monday-Friday hours; occasional site needs as required.
