Duties
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Oversee construction schedule coordination, ensuring timely completion of milestones and resolving any scheduling conflicts promptly
- Manage project budgets through cost management strategies
- Review construction plans and blueprints; ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations
- Supervise project teams on-site; manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal staff to foster collaboration and productivity
- Monitor construction regulatory compliance; conduct site inspections to uphold safety standards and environmental policies
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers to facilitate clear communication and project alignment
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, changes, and performance metrics for executive review
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment while managing supply chain logistics efficiently
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a strong track record of successful delivery
- Demonstrated expertise in construction scheduling, project coordination, budget management, and cost control strategies
- Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, blueprint reading, contracts administration, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on experience with managing teams in a construction management role on active job sites with complex infrastructure or commercial projects
- Familiarity with managing construction plans from design through completion while coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines
- Construction site experience that includes overseeing safety standards and regulatory adherence in diverse environments
