We are a growing San Diego-based architectural firm specializing in multi-unit nationwide commercial retail/restaurant design and project coordination. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage direct client communication and servicing. Involves establishing clear expectations early, utilizing preferred communication channels, proactively providing updates, active listening and empathy.
- Lead and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Produce and manage construction documentation and ensure compliance with building, ADA, and health codes.
- Perform site visits and surveys as necessary.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree and licensure preferred but not required).
- 6 years of experience in architectural project management, including as the lead client and project manager in an architectural firm.
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and health codes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
- Strong time management, communication, and budgeting skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and lead a team.
- Willingness to travel for site surveys and visits.
