Restore Dental Arts is seeking a friendly, patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team one day per week in our LaPorte office. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist looking to supplement their current schedule while working in a supportive, modern dental practice that values exceptional patient care and teamwork.
Schedule
- 1 day per week
- 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as needed
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Assist in identifying and documenting oral health concerns for the doctor
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records
- Collaborate with doctor and team members to provide an outstanding patient experience
Qualifications
- Current Indiana Dental Hygiene License
- Current local anesthesia certification (preferred)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records
