Restoration Technician

We are looking for an experienced Restoration Technician to join our team You will be making an impact each day by responding to customer needs for Fire, Water and Mold Restoration jobs. This includes the completion of drying, demolition, and other restoration activities. 
You are IICRC certified with meaningful previous experience in cleaning/restoration. You hold yourself to a high standard and care deeply about the quality of your work and its impact on customers and your team. 
 
General Responsibilities: 

• Perform restoration activities per work order and estimator instructions 
• Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle along with clean and operable equipment 
• Practice courtesy and safety when driving company vehicles
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
• Establish and maintain a safe work environment - for customers and team members
• Document job readings and activities using company forms and systems
• Communicate professionally with clients, employees, adjusters, trade partners, and the general public
• Assist other team members with the completion of tasks
• Available when called for on-call assignments
• Contribute to a positive atmosphere and the accomplishment of team objectives
• Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance 
• Exhibit at least some sense of humor  We perform difficult, uncomfortable, and dirty services that require some ability to laugh (some jobs more than others).

 Qualifications: 

• Customer service mindset
• Possess or be willing/able to achieve IICRC certifications (WRT required, ASD, FSRT, AMRT desired)
• Experience performing cleaning/restoration jobs
• Interest / ability to learn new methods, grow skills, and contribute to efforts to improve our processes
• Exhibit pride in own work efforts and overall performance of team
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record (i.e., low points); insurable under Company insurance policy
• High school diploma/GED 

 Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

Compensation: $ $20.00 per hour
