The Position:
The Mitigation Manager serves as the liaison between administration and the mitigation team, fulfilling the company’s contractual obligations through the timely and profitable delivery of our restoration services.
Supervise the execution of all services required to perform proper mitigation services rapidly. Ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively to minimize loss and secondary damage. Audit all documentation of all mitigation losses, including all requirements needed for proper invoicing.
Job Description:
- Report to the Operations Manager.
- Responsible for managing multiple team members on a job.
- Evaluate and ensure that the proper execution of the scope of work is implemented.
- Prepares schedules for daily and weekly projects.
- Work with crew members to resolve problems as discovered.
- Create and maintain job site inventories.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of restoration projects (water, fire, mold, storm damage, etc.).
- Manage and mentor field technicians and crew leaders to ensure timely, high-quality service.
- Coordinate resources and equipment to maximize productivity.
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and industry standards.
- Rotating on a call schedule with the Operations Manager for phones.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Requirements:
- Minimum five (5) years of hands-on experience in the restoration field. (Required)
- At least two (2) years in a managerial or supervisory role. (Preferred)
- IICRC Water Damage Restoration Certification. (Required)
- Experience in job costing and scheduling projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Organize, plan, and prioritize work.
- Knowledgeable of IICRC regulations and bylaws.
- Knowledge of industry policies and procedures.
- Ability to set goals and monitor them.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Daily commute to Sykesville, Maryland. (Required)
