Responsibilities
- Perform water, fire, mold, and smoke mitigation services in accordance with industry specifications.
- Serve as the frontline responder for our company, inspecting sites, presenting solutions, and conducting restoration activities.
- Grow and supervise a team of mitigation technicians.
- Use Xactimate software to create proposals and write estimates.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and insurance agents throughout projects.
- Ensure projects are completed within established time frames and to customer satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate with managers on job status, scope, time, and resource status utilizing restoration management communications and documentation software.
- Maintain a clean, properly stocked, and organized truck and ensure all company equipment is well-maintained.
- Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
- Be accessible by phone and participate in after-hours emergencies and the on-call schedule.
- Schedule crews and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Minimum of 4 year of mitigation experience preferred.
- Management experience preferred.
- IICRC – WRT Certification at a minimum.
- Proficiency in Xactimate software.
- Strong multitasking, organizational skills, and ability to react quickly to situations.
- Experience with insurance claims and speaking directly with homeowners and adjusters.
- Strong customer service focus with effective communication skills.
- Project management experience with multiple jobs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
