A Lead Technician is mainly responsible for performing the water mitigation for residential properties while providing excellent customer service. This is a labor-intensive construction related position that has a rotating “on call / emergency response” requirement.
- Water Mitigation: Performing water extraction, setting up and monitoring drying equipment, and conducting moisture readings to ensure successful drying processes.
- Customer Service: Regularly communicating with clients to update them on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring their complete satisfaction throughout the process.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and caring for company equipment, ensuring tools are in top condition and ready for deployment.
- Team Leadership: Providing guidance and training to junior technicians; ensuring the highest standards are consistently met.
- Emergency Response: Participating in a rotating “on call” schedule, ready to address water emergencies swiftly and effectively.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in water damage restoration or a related role.
- High attention to detail and job documentation.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Clean criminal history and driving record
- Ability to work in challenging environments, such as confined spaces or heights.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician certification or equivalent is preferred. (RestoPros may conditionally offer to pay for your Water Damage Restoration training and exam from the IICRC, pending employment.)
