What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at Restful Touch Wellness Collective?
Restful Touch Wellness Collective is looking for a part time receptionist to join our team. We are a welcoming, spa wellness space that blends massage, skincare, yoga, and community. Our front of the house team is the first and last impression for every guest so being warm, friendly, and professional while helping create a relaxing, high-quality experience is required.
Hours:
- Monday, Thursdays, & Fridays: 5 PM – 7:30 PM
- Sundays: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Additional hours available in September help covering other's shifts
Pay Perks:
- $18-$20/hour (DOE)

Duties Include:
- Greeting clients warmly and create a welcoming, calm environment
- Schedule & manage appointments using our booking system
- Answer phones, emails, and client questions with excellent communication
- Process retail purchases and earn commission on product sales
- Maintain the lobby and retail space (light cleaning & tidying)
- Help keep the spa running smoothly (laundry, small tasks as needed)
- Support our massage therapy school students and teachers when needed
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable, and loves helping people feel welcome
- Strong communication skills; clear, kind, and professional
- Detail-oriented & organized, can juggle multiple tasks calmly
- Comfortable with technology (online booking systems, email, POS)
- Reliable, punctual, and a great teammate
- Bonus: Interest in wellness, massage, skincare, or yoga
