Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Support catering and banquet events by helping set up, clear tables, and ensure cleanliness throughout service.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all food prep and dining areas.
- Help with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to support efficient operations during busy hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Knowledge of basic food handling safety practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food prep, cleaning, and customer service.
- Experience with catering, banquet events, or hotel kitchens is beneficial but not mandatory.
